TSAVO EAST – THE MARATHON EXPRESS 1 DAY 
Early morning departure from your coast hotel driving along the Mombasa Nairobi Highway.  Enter the vast Tsavo East National Park. The morning is spent game driving amongst the herds of Elephants and plains game always on the look out for the Lion or Cheetah. An excellent buffet lunch awaits you at a safari lodge. After relaxing you may enjoy another opportunity to search for the game as you drive back to resort in the early evening.

SHIMBA TREE HOTEL (JUNGLE SAFARI – OVERNIGHT)  
Leaving your coastal hotel in the early morning driving past the city of Mombasa for its South arriving at the Shimba National Reserve. Game driving through the park, observe the Flora and Fauna of the Tropical rainforest. You have the opportunity to visit the Shedrick Falls this is for those physically fit watch water splashing at the top of a cliff 30 metres high. Casual sports wear are preferable. Check in at the Shimba Lodge to refresh and get set for a fabulous lunch, have abit of leisure, after lunch drive 10km south of the lodge to a nature walk zone. It’s a guided tour and at times you come close to the wild game.  Sit around a bonfire as the resident naturalist takes you through the history of the lodge, park and its inhabitants. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.Early morning game drive through the main park. Animals are likely to be seen are Elephants, Buffalos, Sable Antelopes, Giraffe and the exclusive Leopards, back to the lodge for breakfast and depart for your respective hotels.


2DAYS – TSAVO EAST & WEST   

                        TSAVO EAST / TSAVO WEST
Day 1:               Leave your coastal hotel just before sunrise driving along the main Mombasa –  Nairobi Highway Km 130.  Drive inland to Tsavo East National Park – morning spent game viewing in search for Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes e.t.c.  Lunch will be at the  Safari Lodge with great views at the waterholes. The rest of the day will be spent game viewing in Tsavo West back to the lodge for dinner  and overnight (Ngulia), chances of seeing a Leopard at a very close range.

                        TSAVO WEST- MOMBASA
Day 2:              Early morning game viewing after breakfast including a visit to the Mzima Springs a water spring that produces more than 95million gallons of water everyday, you have a chance of seeing Hippos, Crocodiles and fish from the observation tank proceed with your game viewing with lunch enroute arriving at your coastal hotel in the late afternoon.

3DAYS/ 2NIGHTS – THE BEST OF TSAVO

                        TSAVO WEST
Day 1:               Morning departure from your Coastal hotel drive into the Tsavo West  National Park surrounded by the Chyulu Hills and the Pare Mountains not forgetting the volcanic lava hills, continue  with your first morning game viewing enroute to Ngulia Lodge for lunch, the lodge is situated spectacularly on the edge of Ndave escarpment, offering a vast panorama of Tsavo’s sweeping plains. Relax at the lodge before the late afternoon game viewing then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Evening attractions at the lodge include the nightly visit of a local leopard who visits a nearby tree to eat the bait that has been set out by the staff at the lodge.

                        TSAVO WEST/TSAVO EAST
Day 2:              Morning game viewing include a visit to the Mzima Springs a Water spring that Obtains most of its waters from Chyulu Hill and Mt. Kilimanjaro, it does produce more than 95 million gallons of Water everyday creating home for Hippos, crocodiles and fishes, which can be clearly seen through the glass observation tank.
Afterwards proceed with your game drive enroute to Tsavo East with game viewing enroute to Voi Lodge for lunch.  Relax at the lodge enjoying a beautiful  Panoramic view of Tsavo East National Park from the lodge built on a hill overlooking some two waterholes which are attracting a big herd of Waterbuffalos and Elephants.  Afternoon game viewing with chances of seeing the Wild Cats back to lodge for dinner and overnight.

                        TSAVO EAST – MOMBASA
Day 3:              Early morning game drive before and after breakfast game viewing stop for lunch at
a restaurant on your way back to the resort.

 

TSAVO EAST, WEST & SALTLICK – 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS

DAY 1:              Depart resort at 7.00 a.m. drive inland to Tsavo East National Park the biggest national Park in Kenya covering an area of about 11,655 Sq. Km. Morning game drive via Aruba Dam a man made dam which obtains most of its water from the Taita Hills a buffet lunch awaits for you at the Voi Safari Lodge a lodge built up on a hill overlooking some two waterholes which are a big attraction for animals. Then relax at the lodge before going for the afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the Voi Safari Lodge.

DAY 2:             Early morning game drive before breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park after breakfast with game drive enroute to Ngulia Safari Lodge for lunch afternoon game drive after lunch which includes a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary, back to Ngulia Lodge for dinner and overnight you maybe as well lucky and spot a leopard at a very close range at the lodge.

DAY 3:             Morning game drive after breakfast which does include a visit to Mzima Springs a water spring that produces more than 95 million gallons of water everyday which has created a place of stay for animals like Hippos, Crocodiles and varieties of Fish the under water observation tunnel gives you a clear view of the animals in the water.  You will then proceed to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary arriving on time for lunch afternoon game drive in the sanctuary stopping at the Saltlick Lodge built on the stilts overlooking the waterholes for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4:             Morning game drive before breakfast and after breakfast with lunch enroute to Mombasa arriving at the resort in the late afternoon.    


PARKS & PEAKS – 4 DAYS/ 3NIGHTS

An excellent opportunity to combine a visit to Kenya’s largest park, Tsavo with Amboseli, described by Hemingway as the very essence of Africa. Right on the Tanzanian border, Amboseli enjoys a spectacular backdrop – snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. To the west of the park, a seasonal lake attracts water-fowl, although most of the year it is merely a dry bed of soda where desert mirages dance across the surface. Most of the game is drawn to the swamps and permanent water in the center and south of the park. Sightings include: elephants, buffalo, lions, wildebeest, giraffes, zebra and baboons and the endangered black rhino.


MOMBASA – TSAVO WEST

Day 1:               Early morning departure from your coastal hotel drive along the main  Mombasa – Nairobi highway entering Tsavo West for your first morning game drive enroute to Ngulia Safari Lodge whereby you will be checked in the proceed for lunch, be lazy round the pool before going for your afternoon game drive then be back at Ngulia Lodge for dinner and overnight chances of seeing a Leopard at a very close range.

                        TSAVO WEST - AMBOSELI
Day 2:              This day  your breakfast is served very early in the morning before checking out with game viewing enroute to Amboseli National Park via the Mzima Springs a Water Spring producing more then 95 million gallons of Water everyday, chances of seeing Hippos, Crocodiles and fish through the observation glass tank. Lunch at Safari lodge on camp, relax before the late afternoon game drive which is an ideal time to spot game, back to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

                        AMBOSELI TSAVO EAST
Day 3:              Morning game drive in Amboseli after breakfast, proceeding to Tsavo East National Park home of the Red Elephants, game drive enroute to Voi Safari Lodge / Voi Wildlife Lodge for lunch, relax at the lodge enjoying the beautiful panoramic views and as well as watching animals at the Water holes. You’ll then be going for your afternoon game viewing where chances of seeing the Wild Cats are high back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:              Morning game viewing before breakfast more chances for the Cats, back to the lodge
For breakfast after which a game drive is conducted as we try to make our way home arriving back to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3:              Early morning game drive in Amboseli after an early breakfast. Drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sactuary game driving enroute to the beautiful Saltlick Lodge builts on the Stilts overlooking Waterholes for lunch, after lunch relax before going for your late afternoon game viewing back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:              Early morning game viewing before breakfast in the Taita Hills Wildlife  Sanctuary the drive into Tsavo East with game drive enroute to Voi Safari Lodge, lunch at Voi Lodge then after a relaxation proceed for your afternoon game viewing back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5:              Early morning game viewing before breakfast after proceed with more game viewing as we make our way back to your coastal hotel arriving in the early afternoon.

Day 5:             Early morning game viewing before breakfast in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary the drive into Tsavo East with game drive enroute to Voi Safari Lodge/Voi Wildlife Lodge for lunch, then after a relaxation proceed for your afternoon game viewing back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6:             Early morning game viewing before breakfast, after proceed with more game viewing as we make our way back to your coastal hotel arriving in the earlyafternoon.


7 DAYS MARA/L.NAKURU/SAMBURU

Day 1:          NAIROBI - MAASAI MARA
Depart Nairobi for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.  Drive through the agriculturally rich central province of Kenya past coffee and tea plantations.  Subsistence crops canopy the red soiled volcanic plots.  Stopover at the edge of the escarpment, to marvel at the fall of the Great Rift Valley, a geological phenomena emanating from the Red Sea to Mozambique in South Africa.  Arrive Maasai Mara in time for lunch.  Afternoon game drive.  Dinner and overnight at either lodge or camp.

Day 2:          MASAI MARA

Whole day spent at the Maasai Mara with game drives.  Explore the vast tree studded reserve in search of lions, elephant, giraffe, cheetah, buffalo, antelopes, warthog e.t.c.  Wildlife in the Mara is found in prolific numbers and the game reserve has the highest wildlife concentration per square kilometer.

Day 3:         MASAI MARA

An extra day spent at the Maasai Mara with game drives.  Optional visits to a Maasai Manyatta can be arranged as can be game walks with resident Maasai Moran’s.  All meals and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 4:          MAASAI MARA - LAKE NAKURU

Depart Maasai Mara for the Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for lunch.  Afternoon game drive around the lake and into the National Park.  The Lake Nakuru hosts the world’s largest concentration of flamingoes which canopy the edge of this alkaline Rift Valley Lake.  Pelicans and other bird species are abundant and the adjacent National Park hosts Lions, Giraffe, Warthog, and Leopard e.t.c.  There is a Rhino Sanctuary and thus Rhino sightings are almost guaranteed.  All meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5:          LAKE NAKURU - SAMBURU
Depart Nakuru after breakfast.  Proceed to the Samburu Game reserve on the fringes of the Semi-arid northern frontier district of Kenya.  A picnic lunch will be hosted at the Thompson falls.  The scenic Nakuru -Nyahururu road passes through the hub of Kenya’s food basket and an insight of the living situation of the local population is visible.  Arrive Samburu in the late afternoon to commence your game drive.  Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 6:         SAMBURU

Whole day spent at the Samburu Game Reserve.  The arid conditions have provided habitat for distinct animal survival peculiarities.  We find the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy’s zebra, the gerenuk, Somali ostrich, lion’s elephants, cheetah, buffalo and crocodiles at the Ewaso Nyiro River which is the lifeline of the Samburu Game Reserve.  Other species of game are also found.  All meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7:         SAMBURU - MT. KENYA - NAIROBI

Early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast.  An optional game drive before the return journey to Nairobi with lunch scheduled at the base of Mt. Kenya.  After lunch, take a leisurely drive admiring tea, coffee, sisal and pineapple plantations to arrive Nairobi in the early evening.



7DAYS TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI – MAASAI MARA

Day 1:               Leave your coastal hotel drive to Tsavo West National Park, game drive enroute to Ngulia Lodge for lunch, lazy around the pool then go for an afternoon  game drive then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:              Morning game drive after breakfast including visits to the Mzima Springs where crystal clear waters emanates from underground wells, Hippos, Crocodiles and a variety of fish will be seen. Tsavo West hosts Elephants, Lions, Water Buffalos, Leopards, Rhinos, Giraffes, Cheetahs, variety of Antelopes and abundance of Birdlife. Proceed to Amboseli arriving on time for lunch – afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

                        AMBOSELI
Day 3:              All day spent game viewing in the Amboseli National Park(optional visit to Maasai homestead “Manyatta”) overnight at lodge/camp in Amboseli.

                        AMBOSELI – MAASAI MARA
Day 4:              Early breakfast at the lodge.  Depart Amboseli for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch will be in Nairobi.  Arrive Maasai Mara in the late afternoon. A short game drive en-route to Lodge/Camp.  Dinner and overnight at the Maasai Mara.

                        MAASAI MARA
Day 5:              Whole day spent at the Maasai Mara Game Reserve with game viewing drives. The Maasai Mara is the most popular reserve in the region and is host of practically all animal species peculiar to the region.  Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalo, Zebra, Warthop, hertbeest, wildbeest etc are found in large concentration.  The Maasai people from which the reserve is named habituate the reserve in harmony with the wild animals.

                        MAASAI MARA
Day 6:              Extra day spent at the Maasai Mara with game drives. Optional visits to a Maasai village, nature walk, or balloon safari can be arranged.  Game drives have been scheduled.  All meals and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

                        MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI.
Day 7:              Early pre-breakfast game drive. Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast.  Proceed to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch.  Optional city tour of Nairobi with a visit to the National Museum can be arranged.

NB:  This safari ends in Nairobi from Mombasa, it may also be scheduled to start from Nairobi ending in Mombasa.



4 DAYS MASAI MARA/LAKE NAKURU

Day 1:               MASAI MARA

                        Depart Nairobi for the Masai Mara Game Reserve.  Drive through the agriculturally rich central highlands of Kenya past tea and coffee plantations.  Your guide will stop over and give you short lectures of their growth in Kenya.  Subsistence crops canopy the red volcanic soils of the area while local homesteads dot the countryside.  We arrive at the escarpment shortly where we stop to marvel at the drop of the Great Rift Valley, which stretches, from the Red Sea to Mozambique.
Drive along the floors of the Rift Valley past Masai pastoralists to reach the Masai Mara in time for lunch.  Lunch at your lodge/camp.  Afternoon game drive.  Dinner and overnight at the Mara ‘lodge/camp’.

Day 2:               MASAI MARA

Whole day spent within the Masai Mara with game drives.  Prides of lions, herds of elephants, zebra, antelope, buffalo, wildbeest together  with a profusion of other game will be seen.  All meals and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Day 3:              MARA - NAKURU

                        Early pre-breakfast game drive.  Optional game drive as you depart the Masai Mara for the Lake Nakuru National Park.  Arrive in time for lunch.  Afternoon bird watching drive around the lake and into the National Park.  Lake Nakuru hosts the largest flamingo population in the world.  Pelicans and other bird species are also seen.  The national park is also host to a Rhino Sanctuary together with relocated reticulated giraffes.  Leopards are also fairly seen.  All meals and overnights at either lodge/camp.

Day 4:             NAKURU – NAIROBI
